There are a number of compelling reasons to set out a plan or at least leave instructions for when you pass away, these are just some of them:

Your funeral will be what you want

Your own funeral may not be something you want to talk about with your loved ones or, if you do, it might be that they are less willing to have the conversation.

This can mean that your next of kin won't know what your wishes are. So if you have strong views on what you do or don’t want, you need to plan ahead to make sure your wishes are fulfilled.

Peace of mind for you and your family

Those who have planned their funeral relieve their family from any potentially tough decisions and uncertainty at what is already a difficult and confusing time. Preparing for your own final send-off means dying with the benefit that those around you know what you want. It can also help avoid disagreements amongst family who may have differing views and beliefs.

A good place to start is with our FREE Expression of Wishes service. Our online form guides you through the things you might wish to consider and you can fill in as little or as much information as you would like. From just the basics, to planning every detail.

You can then print or download a copy and keep it with your personal papers or you can simply leave an instruction to 'contact Beckfords'. If you choose to set up a free account with your own password, you can access your wishes at any time to update or make changes like picking a new favourite song to be played.

Pre-paid plans

If, at any time, you would like to convert your Expression of Wishes into a pre-paid plan, simply contact us and we will arrange an informal chat which we will follow up with a proposal.
