New rules regarding funerals
Due to the recent Covid restrictions we would like to inform you that Funeral Services are now restricted to a maximum of 10 close family members. It is strongly discouraged that those more medically vulnerable do not attend. Anyone who is unwell or showing symptoms or awaiting Covid test results or in self isolation must not attend.
Services are allowed to be held in Church or other venues as well as in Beckford’s Chapel. Persons attending are required to be seated observing the 2 metre social distance rule unless from the same household. It is requested that persons attend wearing a face mask and sanitise hands on arrival. Singing of hymns is presently permitted accompanied by an organist. Beckford’s has taken all necessary precautions that our Chapel facilities comply with present guidelines.
We at Beckford's realise that this will be a difficult time for all concerned and would like to offer the service of an on line condolence page where friends and families who are unable or are not permitted to attend can leave messages of sympathy which will be passed on to the family. This can be a great comfort to the bereaved. We also offer the services of an on line recording which can be viewed later in the day.
