Our mission is to help families through the whole of the funeral process from the early stages of planning until after the funeral is over. Part of that is noting who has attended the funeral to pay their respects and sharing the information with the families, who won’t always see everyone on the day. 

It has long been tradition for a list of mourners to be published in the local press but the reports only appear briefly and often quite some time after the funerals themselves. We wanted everyone to have the opportunity to have a record that will appear in good time and that will be kept for the foreseeable future rather than just a day. As many more people also prefer online media, we have set up a new Lives Remembered section on our website where the information will be published so family and friends from near and far can easily access it.

Information from funerals we have arranged will be published automatically but we are extending the service to anyone who would like to use it, completely free of charge. All they need to do is send the information to enquiries@beckfords.com.
