New complimentary online service

During these very altered times for us all, we remain committed to providing families with the best funeral experience we can within the current Public Health guidelines. Burial services continue at the graveside and in the case of cremations at Le Foulon, we have had many services here at Beckford's where our chapel can accommodate up to 10 close family members whilst following social distancing guidelines.

Additionally, we have now taken further steps to help families feel supported with the current restriction on numbers able to attend a funeral. We are offering a complimentary service to our families who wish to take advantage of this, whereby family and friends unable to attend a funeral, can leave their name securely and privately on our website (using a link provided in the death notice), in lieu of their ability to attend in person. The option is also available to leave a message of condolence.

The family of the deceased will then receive a copy of the list of names who would ordinarily have attended the funeral, as well as any sentiments expressed.

Once the names and wishes have been passed on to the deceased's family, all data will be removed in accordance with Data Protection Law.

We continue to look at alternative ways of supporting our bereaved families but hope this extra addition to our service will offer an alternative message of support to them.
